A good game for the most part but too expensive in the later stages (literally thousands of dollars) to make progress. The game mechanics are fun, working with players around the world to build a really strong team, competing in global tournaments is also really fun. I think if you like war games you’ll enjoy it. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is that the cost is way too high as you progress. They need to add more skill based mechanics to it.
It's ok. Def not simple.
Was good when I started, but there is no attack cap, that means a level 30 can attack a level 10! There is no way to grow or attack back when you are constantly used by these higher levels. It should be 5 levels either way so a level 30 can only attack 25 and up! Not fun any more, I'm moving on.

Great game. Very confusing at first, its hard to remember what each building does, I can never remember.
It's a good addictive game, but like most of the others in this category once you reach a certain level it's ££££ to try and keep up with the rest of the world players.... I mean seriously do the devs really expect people to pay £1057+ for a Commanders XP pack (lvl6) 😂 even at its knocked down limited time only price of £92 I'd never pay that in a million years (that's just me, obviously some people will and that's fair enough) hell I'd struggle to part with the 82p offer for a basic pack 😂
After playing for a while it gets boring, need to pay to keep up, when servers merge it gets even worse, had fun at first but there's hardly anything new (that you don't need to pay for)

Amended my review, but rating stays the same. You didn't read what I wrote before responding, though a response is appreciated. The game brings in a lot of money, but not much ever gets improved. Even the Brutal cars you take away everything from us after £££'s invested. Not good.
It's an amazing game I love it has a very good story line and it doesn't cost a lot of money witch is the best part about it most games cost a fortune to play this game

This is a strategy game for newcomers or veterans alike. The gameplay is easy to learn for the rookies and fun to master as a veteran. The graphics are great for a mobile game. The hero’s in the game are well animated and they even have a backstory! Most mobile games would not even bother with small details like this.Throw in the fact that there’s also a tower defense mini game and you have me sold! This mini game is so much fun and it’s not just an easy play and win, you actually have to practice and level up your city which directly correlates to your tower defenses. Overall this is an awesome game and for those of you who like to spend just a little bit on your mobile games this is the way to go. There always events happening which makes this game feel alive. Mix in awesome alliances to grow with and your have yourself a winner!Awesome game please keep up the great work!
This is my second time writing a review. I have been trying to get a explanation on why my account keeps getting zeroed for rss and gold. They say it's because of charge backs from Google play. Google play sent me receipts and clarification that there are no charge backs and they don't know why they are saying this. This is a form of stealing. When I do get a hold of someone they give me a generic response and end the chat box. I have proof from Google play that I have not been refunded. BEWARE!
Please fix the problem about changing accounts on multiple accounts . It says need to change email in google play games to change into another account . It a waste of time and time consuming . I hope you fix this problem as soon as possible .

I am not allowed enough characters in order to give an accurate and detailed reason as to why I lowered my opinion from five stars down to three stars and really would only like to give it 2.5 Stars. If there is a way to give a better explanation with more space please tell me how and I will explain why after playing the game for a couple of weeks I gave it an honest five star review but now after playing it for a few months I lowered it so much. I guess all I have room to say is I am shocked.
I dont know what happen but it won't play in my phone. It will only blink and blink and blink..

Tower defense is only a portion of it, if you're looking for solely tower defense don't get it. Does have side events like the drag racing, zombie uprise, doom arenas, etc. But this game is one of those "fortress" games, be prepared for a lot of attacks and politics. So if that's what you're looking for then get it. Downgraded from 2 stars because it's for sure pay to win, AND the customer service is AWFUL! I haven't been able to connect with cell data for over 2 weeks.
Wish the packs where bigger. They seen small for the money you pay

Plenty of things to keep you busy. Just like most games that require time to unlock new features, this one gives plenty of free upgrades and speed-ups to keep things moving along without having to dump butt loads of cash for anyone who's patient and willing to do the challenges. I occasionally have to restart the app when buttons don't load but that's pretty minor of a problem overall Edit: been playing about 2 months and I'm starting to get annoyed by the challenges that require gold purchases

I liked the game a lot. Didn't like that people could upload their own custom avatar. A few people in world used that for nude pictures, which really stinks because i have to see the avatars when i look through the list of guild members. I've reported the pictures a few times but its still there. So i quit.
Money and time draining process
Fun, but it is clear there are shenanigans going on with developer accounts or greedy Game company.
I've been playing this game for two months now. And found out the higher level you go the more resources you need to achieve the next level. This is slow and agonizing to me. I also understand that it is a way to push someone to purchase packs. You're not in this business to lose money. I get that. But it would be nice if there were perhaps an event or challenge that is made where leveling up certain things in your city is the reward. Just a suggestion. Should keep more people playing. Thank you.
This game is dope! One thing I would like to see as an improvement is increased duration of in game notifications eg. text pops up on the screen during gameplay and disappears before you have a chance to read what it says. Commander 17131659. Thanks for the great game guys. I love it!

The game is nice but why on Earth wouldn't you sync my phones if I connected with my email and Google Play Games? Not a single byte is synced... All the games are synced, this game is not synced...
This is a great strategy game but is heavily weighted to big spenders. Which as time goes on ruins the fun because the the difference in power becomes so great that even a good strategy can't help you only $$ can
Fun game, but no support or help system. Don't put money into this game as you will expect a response from help desk when gameplay or cheating arises. It never happens. I along with countless others contact developer with issues that come up to never get a response. The last 4 timea i tried to contact developer with issues. No response. Not a slow response but literally no response. It has became a running joke with players it is so bad. Play for free but don't pump money into a broke system
I made it to castle level 31 in one year, thanks to friends and good strategies, you can do good without being a "spender", later in the game you run routines in 1 hour, you see your resaults and time put in, then PvE playing gets easy, PvP the fun starts with the real losses of troops and events agains other worlds and this will become your main goal, win events with your alliance, this is a very social game online and the will to push forward as one becomes addiction 🙂 iiTzRipper --- peace ✌️
1. City v City attacks. Should have a limit by level range. Nation 212 has seen countless attacks where a city 10 levels higher just takes everything. This caused players to leave. 5 level range seems fair. Please promote fair play. 2. Players attacking each other and taking all the resources out of the other base needs to be limited or a reportable offense. Again. All of this is to promote fair play. Devilin Nation 212
Loved it at first but then found out that 1 person can have several accounts at the same time. Which means 1 person can train all their accounts up high and attack small alliances constantly. This is why so many people quit this games. There should be 1 account per person at any one time to make it fair.

Good playing graphics! alot of features great events To be honest I wish scouts were different from fleets, 1 scout to every so many levels in recon so u can keep scouting while attacking others or gathering resources! I play daily I'm in a great alliance, come join the fun what you waiting for just tap the install button and start battling zombies and online player around the world!!
What the hell is going on in this game I've been attacked 10 or 11 times all my resources and troops are gone I have nothing left. I like this game but not that way. I'm just for friends in this game now.
This is a very well made game and there is a learning curve. It is fun at the start but becomes tedious very quickly and your progress can be wiped out by 1 power hungry player/big spender in seconds (speaking from first hand experience). Play casually but don't get obsessed. The cooperation aspect is fun and the gamer base is very international, however the game demands become very time consuming very quickly. I played this game for about 8 months. It's a typical pay to win game!!! Initially it's great but when your city gets to a highter level you have to splash the cash to get anywhere, or have various farm accounts just to get enough resources to build the next building which some can literallybgake a week. Thus, spending money is required to reduce these large build times to stay competitive. Not worth it!
This game is very interesting. While not just a "gather and kill" game, due to the tower defense, it actually requires thought on how to advance your city. (Though you can pay to win, as well) It constantly keeps me trying to think of a good strategy to keep advancing my base. And while you can play it without paying money, most of the items don't give you so much of an advantage that pay to win is too much of an advantage. Player name Kelvarn.

Huge scope. Early in game so seeing how friendly it is without having to buy bonus packs and upgrades etc. Nice to see they work on generating their own income rather than forcing ad after ad upon you. Worth a small spend for that? Alliance idea I'm enjoying...if you can find like minded people it really enhances the game. Quite a needy game though?
Awesome, forget all the other bad reviews . If you learn how to play the game. You can protect yourself from those attacks and enjoy the game. Yes. Some people may get ahead of you by spending money, but you can still be okay by investing some time on it.
Age of Z definitely seems intriguing and fun! ©ChaosTheory® here, and i have no real complaints. Perhaps the march times are a little slow in the beginning, but tech can easily fix that. Its challenging, interactive, and there are some great people in the game. The game pushes you to work together and as a team, to conquer everything in your way. Id recommend to friends for sure.
